XMPie Showcases the Evolution of Cross Media at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, Sept. 24 September 24, 2007 -- XMPie, Inc., the leading provider of software for dynamic publishing, showcased the evolution of Cross Media through its latest tracking and reporting product at Graph Expo, the year's largest trade show for the printing and graphics communications industry, and won an industry accolade for the uProduce Marketing Console().
"When I took a look at the new tracking capabilities and uProduce Marketing Console from XMPie, I could not believe how far Cross Media has come from just a year ago," said Mike Panaggio, president, DME, Inc., a Florida- based marketing services firm. "Now we are able to track and report, piece by piece, all of the elements that drive a Cross Media direct mail campaign while it's happening, not just the end result. Now that is true marketing!"
To help generate interest prior to the show, XMPie executed its own Cross Media campaign in which customers were sent personalized mailers designed like a treasure map. The mailing directed recipients to a RURL (Response URL), http://treasure.xmpie.com/newuser, where they could verify their contact information, sign up for demos at the XMPie booth, and take part in a "treasure hunt" to discover the latest variable-data print and Cross Media solutions from XMPie. Those who attended the demo presentations were entered into a drawing at the end of each session, where the winner was awarded a handful of coins and rough-cut gems from a treasure box in the booth.
Other Graph Expo activities included an XMPie Users' Group reception, an informal networking event that invited current and prospective customers to meet with XMPie executives and learn more about the product solutions the company offers. XMPie President Jacob Aizikowitz welcomed attendees and provided brief remarks.
"We felt a very positive vibe from customers and visitors to the XMPie booth at Graph Expo," said Aizikowitz. "They responded enthusiastically to the capabilities of the new uProduce Marketing Console, which arms 'printers' with the ability to become 'marketers,' and we were able to share best practices with them through the demos and the Users Group Reception."
XMPie announced three new products at Graph Expo:
- PersonalEffect() 4.0, a tool that, for the first time, bridges Cross Media publishing with tracking, analysis and reporting, giving marketers the ability to analyze campaign behavior in real-time, then immediately use the information to refine the campaign's relevancy to drive better results. Analysis and reporting are provided by the uProduce Marketing Console, which won a Must See 'em Award, sponsored by PrintCom Consulting Group. The Must See 'em Awards are given to the most unique, innovative and compelling products and services at the show.
- uDirect() Studio combines uDirect Standard software with XMPie's image personalization software, uImage() 3.0, and its variable charting software, uChart(). Any creative professional on a Mac or PC with Adobe InDesign  CS2 or CS3 and a flat-table data file can efficiently create a variable print document without a programmer, while incorporating vivid personalized images and charts into their designs.
- uStore() 2.5 now includes features that make it even easier for businesses to host online "document stores" to produce one-to-one marketing materials. XMPie streamlined the order-to-fulfillment process even further with new plug-ins that automate data flow in XML format from the ordering page to the payment system to the production system. uStore 2.5 also has a new built-in FedEx delivery mechanism and supports international credit card payments through Bibit Global Payment Services.
For those who did not attend Graph Expo 2007, XMPie is holding a Webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 26th from 2:00 -- 3:00 p.m. EDT to demonstrate its new product offerings. Visit www.xmpie.com for more information.
