Pitney Bowes and FMAudit Enter Global Agreement

Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn. - September 24, 2007 - Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement with FMAudit LLC, a leading provider of managed print services applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, PBMS can license the following FMAudit products in the U.S. and internationally to support the print asset and centralized reprographic management services PBMS provides on-site at its customer facilities: "Viewer USB"; "Central"; "On-Site"; "Agent"; "Web Audit" and "Viewer PC."
Vincent De Palma, executive vice president and president, PBMS, stated that FMAudit's technology enhances PBMS' mailstream solutions offering, Pitney Bowes PrintWorks(TM). He explained that this technology provides a more secure, accurate and faster collection of usage data and status information from a customer's fleet of printers, copiers and multi-function devices (MFDs) into PBMS' Fleet Asset Manager centralized database, and reduces human error for more accuracy and shorter implementation times, all at a lower cost.
"What this means from a value perspective is more accurate and timely billing, a solid audit trail to help ensure regulatory compliance, better reporting and better asset management over time, and improved service level agreements," De Palma stated, adding, "after examining the offerings of other companies in this area, we've concluded that FMAudit is the only one that has as comprehensive a technology set."
Richard Piper, president and CEO of FMAudit, affirmed that PBMS and FMAudit naturally align. He further articulated that the company's structure, geographic reach, customer base and market prowess, combined with FMAudit's flexible, secure, fast and accurate technology results in unmatched credibility to deliver a powerful management services offering.
"This relationship marks the beginning of a new chapter in the management services market. In addition to synchronization with the Pitney Bowes PrintWorks(TM) solution, PBMS' print asset management offering, PBMS will transcend traditional management activities by having their sales engineering teams leverage the same software to deliver improved print asset management information to customers," Piper stated. "We look forward to continuing to deliver the most innovative and cost effective solution to further fuel PBMS' growth initiatives by achieving a competitive edge and penetrating accounts higher and wider with more value-added solutions."
