HumanEyes Technologies Partners with IAPHC to Educate Graphics Professionals About 3D and Lenticular Imaging

Press release from the issuing company

Jerusalem - September 17, 2007 - HumanEyes Technologies, the leading 3D and lenticular software developer, announces that it is partnering with IAPHC, the Graphic Professionals Resource Network, to help educate its members and further the use of 3D and lenticular imaging in a wider range of printed materials. The IAPHC has been tracking increased interest and use of 3D and lenticular applications over the past two years.
As a first step in the partnership, HumanEyes has become a sponsor of the IAPHC's 33rd Annual International Gallery, the organization's annual showcase of printed samples that exemplify the craft, art and science employed by the global printing and graphics arts community.  The IAPHC will work with HumanEyes to encourage additional companies to enter the newly-designated HumanEyes Lenticular Category of the International Gallery. In order to accommodate this new "Best of" award, the deadline entry period for lenticular category entrants has been extended to October 31, 2007. The Best of the Best awards will be presented in January 2008, in conjunction with IAPHC's celebration of International Printing Week in Las Vegas.
"This is the first time we've had a lenticular category in the International Gallery and we're very excited to have the support of HumanEyes in helping our members to understand how they can now more easily and more profitably employ 3D and lenticular imaging techniques and expand the services they offer their customers," says Lesley Addy, Executive Vice President of the IAPHC. "Beginning with an informative presentation from Jeff Miller, Sales Director for the Americas, at our recent annual convention; and now sponsorship of a separate International Gallery category, we're hoping to show our members that lenticular is easier and more accessible than ever, and an area where they can show off their art, craft and innovation while adding a profitable area to their service repertoire."
Addy continues, "Each year the number of spectacular 3D and lenticular entries in our International Gallery contest has been increasing, with submissions from graphics professionals and companies around the world. The HumanEyes Lenticular category in this competition is evidence that lenticular is becoming increasingly important as a product differentiator and a mechanism for ensuring that promotional efforts stand out from the crowd. We're sure this year's entries will stand out as well."
Adds Duby Hold, HumanEyes CEO, "We are honored to be able to support organizations that are committed to fostering graphic arts user education and excellence, like the IAPHC. We hope that by adding a category for lenticular submissions to the International Gallery, the graphics community at large will recognize the growing importance of lenticular imaging and the creative as well as new business opportunities it offers."
For 33 years, IAPHC, the Graphic Professionals Resource Network, has honored excellence in the printing and graphic arts by applauding the Craft, Art & Science of Graphic Communications. The International Gallery has become a premier event for the Graphic Communications industry worldwide with continual growth in entry numbers and increased support by industry supplier firms.
All International Gallery entries are judged on the quality and difficulty of the graphic arts processes used; i.e. ink coverage, intensity of solids, registration, dot structure, paper usage, binding, finishing, degree of difficulty, overall visual appearance and effective communication.
