Latest Edition of Kodak's Customer Publication, One Magazine, Rolls Out at Graph Expo

Monday, September 10, 2007

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 7-Visitors to Kodak's booth (#1246) at Graph Expo can pick up the newest issue of One, a customer publication from Kodak's Graphic Communications Group.
Through a mix of feature and technical articles, including customer success stories, how to advice, and expert interviews, One magazine provides news and information to help print providers discover new ways to grow their businesses. Topics covered in this edition include new applications for continuous inkjet technology, workflow and color management for global packaging, opportunities with Kodak's Web-to-Print Solutions, and profiles of flexographic and digital printers using innovative approaches to expand their revenue potential.
"When we launched One, we said the magazine would focus on challenges printers face, the strategies they use to win, and ways that printers can differentiate themselves in the marketplace," said Jeff Hayzlett, Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group. "A year later, One magazine delivers on that promise with content based on input we've received from customers about what's important to them as they look to expand and enhance their operations."
One magazine also reflects awareness of sustainability. It is produced on "environmentally sustainable" paper stock from Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. One hundred percent of the electricity used to produce Mohawk papers is offset with certified windpower certificates. Mohawk Fine Papers purchases all of its virgin and recycled fiber pulp from suppliers who are required to document that their product has not been harvested from high conservation value, old growth forests. In addition, all Mohawk paper is elemental chlorine free, made from virgin or recycled fiber bleached using alternative chlorine compounds.
"Mohawk is at the forefront of environmentally sound manufacturing," said Tom O'Connor, Chief Executive Officer of Mohawk Fine Papers, which also collaborated with Kodak and the George Eastman House in Rochester to print its annual report. "Every day we look for ways to reduce emissions, use clean energy, and protect the environment inside and outside our mills. The result is a family of fine papers that deliver significant environmental benefits along with the exceptional print quality people expect from Mohawk."
In addition to its availability at Kodak's Graph Expo booth, One magazine will be delivered to US&C customers of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group. One magazine is also distributed globally with content appropriate for each region. To receive a copy, go to www.graphics.kodak.com/go/one to subscribe.
