Graph Expo Product News: Smart Tools 3.3 Adds Enhanced Job Search and Reporting

Press release from the issuing company

RYE, NY September 13, 2007 -- Smart Tools, the affordable workflow software from Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc., is now available with enhanced job search and output device reporting in version 3.3. Mitsubishi Imaging will debut the software at GRAPH EXPO in Chicago, Sept. 9-12, 2007.
Smart Tools 3.3 and the complete line of Mitsubishi Imaging products will be on display in the company's Booth #4844.
What makes Smart Tools different from the competition? Smart Tools is client-server software that lets your production team manage common preproduction tasks from any desktop in the shop. New features in version 3.3 include:
Enhanced job search and output device status reporting in RIP Manager client for Windows and Macintosh
Upgrade to Enfocus 4.0 Libraries (build51)
Increased throughput for sending large amounts of data between the server and clients.
"Thanks to Smart Tools, even small commercial printers can afford workflow software and achieve big gains in workflow productivity," said George Tun, Business Development Manager at Mitsubishi Imaging. "What once took several workstations, operators and hours to do, can now be handled by one operator from any workstation - in less time and with fewer mistakes."
Smart Tools puts quality control at the beginning of the production stream, not at the end.
Automate by creating customized workflows with the drag-and-drop workflow generation.
Improve error catching by tracking original source files throughout the workflow.
Save time by sending files and monitoring progress from any workstation.
Simplify your jobs with Smart Tools clear and easy-to-use interface.
