Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL (GRAPH EXPO, Booth #3839) — September 9, 2007 — Agfa Graphics today announced that Commerce Color, a major supplier of grand and large format printing services for clients throughout the United States, is enjoying significant gains to its business since adding Agfa’s :Anapurna XL inkjet printer to its in-house equipment roster.
“Results from the :Anapurna XL are visually stronger than what the other inkjet printers we reviewed were able to deliver. We’ve had it for several months now, and we’re extremely pleased,” said Vince Croghan, president of Commerce Color and architect of the company’s ongoing technological expansion. “It gives us an opportunity to print on wider media, which many of our jobs require, and it also uses ink much more efficiently, which helps in cost containment.”
The :Anapurna XL provides a print resolution of 727 x 363 dpi and can print up to 98.5-inches wide on a wide variety of roll or rigid media. Its borderless printing and dual board printing capabilities save time and materials, and its automatic ink refill system notifies operators of low ink levels, ensuring that quality production is maintained.
With the :Anapurna XL, Commerce Color continues to expand its end-product portfolio of large-format printing, including more mass transit advertising posters, stadium graphics, banners, construction signage, wallscapes and more.
“Commerce Color specializes in complex large-format projects. The :Anapurna XL delivers excellent results on the broadest spectrum of media for large-format, making them the kind of customer for which it was truly designed,” said Agfa’s Julian Robledo, General Manager, inkjet solutions, North America. “The :Anapurna family of products, along with all of Agfa’s inkjet equipment and supplies, supports our strategy of bringing only the most complete services and products available today. We call this C3--Complete Integration, Complete Services, Complete Benefits. And customers like Commerce Color are already experiencing the difference this complete inkjet solution and support team can make.”
