Paperspecs Announces Designing for Digital webinar

Press release from the issuing company

PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA – September 6, 2007 -- PaperSpecs today announced the second event in their free webinar series. “Designing for Digital” will address the growing concerns of designers trying to derive desired results from today’s high-quality digital presses. Sponsored by Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, the webinar aims to help designers and print buyers better understand:
- Digital printing and how it complements traditional offset printing;
- Guidelines for choosing the right technology for a project;
- How to select papers for digital print applications;
- Techniques for “Getting the Results You Want,” from color enhancement to reverse type.
“Many of today’s projects involve unique requirements -- smaller production runs, multiple versions, personalized content, or ‘I need it yesterday’ cycle times,” notes PaperSpecs president Sabine Lenz. “This is where digital printing is an ideal solution. But some still find entering this domain a little intimidating. In our next webinar, “Designing for Digital, we’ll explain how designers and print buyers can apply their skills to this emerging technology, while meeting the increasing needs of an ever-demanding marketplace. In other words, how to benefit from the speed and quality of digital printing, and lose the anxiety.”
