Pitney Bowes Highlights Internet Shipping and Postage Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, June 19, 2008 - Pitney Bowes Inc., the mailstream technology firm, will showcase mailstream solutions for thousands of eBay Live! attendees, June 19-21, 2008, at the McCormick Place West in Chicago, Illinois. A premier sponsor and exhibitor at eBay Live!, Pitney Bowes' suite of Internet shipping and postage solutions can help eBay businesses maximize their buying and selling power while saving time and money.

Solutions on display at booth #605 include the eBay shipping label printing service powered by Pitney Bowes. The service provides eBay sellers with a simple and efficient method to print U.S. Postal Service postage labels directly from their accounts at eBay or PayPal.

PayPal's MultiOrder Shipping tool powered by Pitney Bowes will also be featured at the show. The solution allows eBay sellers to purchase and print multiple labels in one session rather than inputting and printing each label one at a time. The MultiOrder Shipping tool also helps sellers organize shipments by type, day shipped or customer.

In addition, Pitney Bowes is highlighting its ClearPath cross-border service, which is currently available for shipments to Canada and Europe. The Pitney Bowes ClearPath solution helps customers eliminate the barriers to global e-commerce by providing a simple Web Services connection to the wide array of parties and services required to complete international transactions. The ClearPath solution can be integrated into the transaction management services used by eBay sellers, or directly into the checkouts of large eBay sellers that operate their own storefronts. The ClearPath service also includes cross-border logistics and customs management services with comprehensive cross-border tracking and proof-of-delivery capabilities.

Separate from the official eBay and PayPal solutions, Pitney Bowes will offer custom postage, which enables eBay sellers to create their own unique, branded postage using photographs, logos or product names. Ordered online or in bulk, custom postage provides sellers with an opportunity to enhance their marketing efforts on outgoing packages.
