Venus Printing Press Purchases KODAK NEXPRESS M700

Press release from the issuing company

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY, June 10 -- Venus Printing Press LLC, a large commercial printer and digital print shop based in Abu Dhabi, is purchasing the first KODAK NEXPRESS M700 Press for the Middle Eastern market.

In a move to expand into full color variable data applications to meet the needs of its customers across the financial, design agency and government markets, the United Arab Emirate based printer has selected the KODAK M700 Press. Appealing to print providers who want to profitably enter the digital printing business with short run color, web to print, and variable data capabilities, the four color press runs at 70 pages per minute for the full range of supported substrate types (coated, uncoated, synthetics, and selected offset paper) and weights (64-300gsm).   It produces output with excellent quality text and graphics, high density, a wide color gamut and high resolution (1200x 1200 dpi).

“We were extremely excited about the quality of the material and the versatility that the KODAK M700 Press can provide,” said Mr Ahmed Al Nawais, Managing Director for Venus Printing Press. “We have been looking for a press that can allow us to increase out production levels and produce material of high quality to meet the needs of our customers, and are confident that with this purchase we will be leading the way for other Middle Eastern based printers.”
