Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Four members of the Xerox Premier Partners Global Network of print providers recently won seven Marketing Excellence Awards from the National Association for Printing Leadership. NAPL recognized the companies for their overall marketing commitment, program goals and results.

EU Services, Rockville, Md., won two gold awards, in the Web positioning and community events categories. Additional winners included the Associates Graphic Services, Wilmington, Del., which won silver in sales support and bronze in community events, and QuantumDigital, Austin, Texas, winning silver in sales support/lead generation and bronze in digital marketing. The Mahoney Co., Santa Clara, Calif., won a bronze award in sales support. All four winners operate one or more Xerox iGen3 110 Digital Production Presses.

"Making the transition to marketing services provider – and effectively marketing their own services – are critical to the success and survival of most print providers today," said Gavin Jordan-Smith, vice president, Premier Partners Global Network, Xerox Corporation. "By using Xerox technology and software such as XMPie, these companies are successfully making this important transition and creating a competitive advantage in doing so."

EU Services won its Web positioning award for the redesign of its site to better communicate with marketers. Results included a 250 percent increase in appointments generated via the Web and a 200 percent increase in new customers acquired through the site. The company won the events award for its EU University Spring 2008 educational program, promoted with a cross-media campaign that generated two new customers and initial sales of $177,320.  The campaign was created with XMPie PersonalEffect software, which provides the company with a single solution to create, deploy and track one-to-one cross-media communications.

QuantumDigital won its awards in two categories for a single, personalized cross-media program, "Finding Your Perfect Prospect," which drove traffic to the company's exhibit at the Direct Marketing Association trade show. The campaign was also created with XMPie PersonalEffect and succeeded not only in generating booth traffic but in confirming meetings with qualified prospects and large accounts.

Associates Graphic Services won for its multi-media campaign, "Let AGS Take You Where You Want to Go." The campaign used a travel theme to excite executives from a key customer about their upcoming meeting with AGS, helping to drive a tenfold increase in 2008 business with the customer.  Subsequently, the campaign was reused with other customers to generate more than $1.25 million in 2008 business. AGS received its bronze award for a cross-media campaign promoting its initial monthly AGS University session. The campaign achieved its goals with a three percent response rate, 24 event registrants and 25 additional strong sales leads.

The Mahoney Company won a bronze award in sales support for its "The Moment has Arrived" campaign jointly promoting new software architecture and hardware upgrades from partners.  The campaign succeeded in generating a 9.2 percent response rate – significantly higher than similar previous campaigns – and a full pipeline of new sales opportunities.
