MAXSON Sheeters Receive Underwriter Laboratory Certification

MAXSON AUTOMATIC MACHINERY COMPANY (Westerly RI - December 02, 2008)  recently received Underwriter Laboratory’s official recognition for its machinery lines.  The Company received the UL 508A certification for electrical requirements that cover control devices associated with motors and logic controllers.  This compliance is in accordance with the National Electric Code and the National Fire Protection Association standards.  Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification programs are accredited by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
 
The UL certification assures the Customer that MAXSON’s equipment has completed an independent, rigorous evaluation process of engineering design, component selection and electrical wiring that meets or exceeds local authority standards.
