Free Color Management Webinar from Xerox and Printing Industries of America Affiliates

December 5, 2008 - A free webinar on digital color management will be presented by Michael Riebesehl, applications project manager, Xerox Corporation on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST. To register, click here.
 
The session will cover the many issues involved with color management in a print shop. Riebesehl will describe ways to set up creative applications for achieving color consistency, where color conversions can take place, and the advantages and disadvantages of the various approaches. He'll highlight ways you can use existing tools to improve your color workflow today and guide you toward developing a long-term color workflow management strategy for optimizing both digital and offset color.
 
As applications project manager, Riebesehl targets image quality levels for product development, creates and promotes business development tools, and helps Xerox customers with digital print integration. He was the technical author for the Xerox Job Preparation Guide for Designers and coauthored the book, The Art & Science of Digital Printing, The Parsons Guide to Getting it Right, with students from Parsons The New School for Design. In addition, Riebesehl is an Adobe Solutions Partner member and an accomplished freelance photographer. He has more than 25 years experience in the printing industry.
 
Xerox, in association with local affiliates of the Printing Industries of America, is presenting the webinar as part of the 2008 Printing Industries of America Digital Print Webinar Series. The seven-part series features leading industry experts speaking on a range of topics in sales and marketing, print operations and business development to educate print providers on the essentials of running a successful digital printing business.
