Advantage Mailing Upgrades to a Xeikon 8000

ITASCA, IL, December 1, 2008 - Xeikon, a division of Punch Graphix, pioneers of the first digital color presses, announced today that Advantage Mailing, a leader in technology-driven direct mail production services, has purchased a Xeikon 8000 digital color press. No stranger to Xeikon technology, Advantage Mailing has been using a Xeikon 5000 for its production requirements and has now decided to upgrade to a Xeikon 8000. With true 1200 dpi at 4 bits per spot, the new Xeikon 8000 will further improve Advantage Mailing's print production capacity and image quality of marketing documents.

The Xeikon 8000 has been designed with speed and productivity in mind. Web-fed, it prints full color multi- page documents at a top speed of 244 letter-size pages per minute. Its exceptional uptime enables duty cycles of up to 9 million letter-size pages per month.
