Responsive Solutions Enhances Customer+ with new modules

BOSTON, APRIL 11, 2007 -- At On Demand, Responsive Solutions Inc. (Booth #322) is introducing significant upgrades to its Customer+ variable-data marketing solution. With the latest enhancements, commercial printers can provide end-to-end marketing campaign services to clients leveraging both print and electronic media. Using Customer+'s campaign management capabilities, printers can provide closed-loop, integrated print and e-mail services that addresses all facets of a marketing program, from creation through fulfillment, mailing/distribution, data collection using personalized web sites and subsequent actions. “Customer+'s unique direct mail, e-mail management, and personalized web site (PURL) capabilities are a huge benefit to printers and their clients,” explains Frank Miller, president of Responsive Solutions. “This strategic capability enables printers to position themselves as comprehensive marketing communications suppliers to their corporate customers.” Total Campaign Management Customer+ uses a single workflow and user interface, marketers, designers and ad agencies can collaborate to develop multiple print and electronic direct marketing pieces that work together seamlessly. Each piece can include “triggers” that automatically drive subsequent mailings based on response/no response, as well as the type of response so that marketers can continuously improve their customer service and mailing efficiency. Customer+'s Dynamic Layout+ module offers end users a Flash-based user interface that drives automated print and e- mail layouts. This browser-based tool provides the high-end functionality of DTP software, including drag-and-drop functionality, support for transparency and drop shadows, and offers total revision control. Customer+ also features tight integration with QuarkXPress ® 7 and its support for multichannel publishing. Customer+ users either build or import a primary template that can be reused for every print and e-mail communications piece to maximize productivity and insure consistent presentation, in contrast to applications that require users to create each piece from scratch. Scheduling and Mailing Efficiency In addition to streamlining the creative phase, printers and their customers will save time and money on direct mail projects as a result of tight integration of Customer+'s scheduling tools and BCC Mail Manager 2010. Customer+ enables printers to combine multiple like jobs on press to maximize press capacity and scheduling flexibility, and use Mail Manager 2010 to presort the jobs prior to printing so that the printer is eligible for the maximum postal discount. The inherently shorter runs of targeted VDP campaigns sometimes prevent mailers from qualifying for USPS discounts. However, using Customer+ and Mail Manager 2010, printers can seamlessly combine multiple projects to satisfy the USPS quantities and save significantly on the cost of mailing to maximize margins and be more competitive in the marketplace. Customer+'s integrated mailing tool provides printers and mailers with list management and data cleansing tools right where they belong in the workflow, and completely eliminate the need for third-party support. The results are fewer errors, more efficient mailings and lower costs. Closed-loop Feedback Personalized web sites (PURLs) are increasingly valuable tools that help marketers learn more about their customers and how best to communicate with them. Responsive Solutions' personalized web sites (PURLs) are easy to set up, provide the greatest design flexibility, and automatically capture and upload the data into the customer database so that the next contact is more timely and relevant. Unlike alternative systems, Responsive Solutions' personalized web site tool supports sophisticated graphics and layouts for HTML pages without requiring a programmer. Customer+ is designed for marketing professionals and doesn't require any technical skills at all by taking full advantage of templates. After less than an hour of training, users select the appropriate template, provide a set of questions for the personalized web sites (PURLs), and then the system automatically directs the respondent to the most appropriate landing page. Once there, Customer+ automatically collects customer-supplied information and uploads it into the CRM database to maximize marketers' knowledge and understanding of their clients and prospects. With marketers moving beyond postcards and direct mail to complex direct marketing promotions, Customer+ Fulfillment+ module enables printers to assemble and “kit” three-dimensional boxes and their contents using inventory lists. Customer+ can serve businesses of any size or volume of work. It is available as a hosted service (ASP model) or through a traditional software license in which the application resides on the client's server.
