Heidelberg Showcases Solutions for the Value-Added Chain in Sheetfed Offset Printing at Graph Expo

08/15/2007 -- Heidelberg will be showcasing numerous innovations at Graph Expo, which takes place in Chicago from September 9-12, 2007, covering the entire value-added chain in sheetfed offset printing. Heidelberg will present integrated solutions for commercial and packaging printing in its 2,900 square-meter booth. This year’s Graph Expo is also the first industry event where Heidelberg will be unveiling its new HEI Tech image campaign to the public.

The key innovations at Graph Expo include: 
Print sector:
A Speedmaster XL 105 six-color press with coating unit and extended delivery, a Speedmaster SM 102 8-P+LX with Preset Plus technology equipped with CutStar CAN, a Speedmaster SM 52 4+L with Anicolor technology, the new Prinect Inpress Control inline color measuring and control system, and Foil Star for cold application of foil.
Postpress sector:
The new Varimatrix 105 CS die cutter and the ECO 105 folder gluer.
Workflow sector:
The fully integrated Prinect workflow, including the Prinect Integration System and Prinect Pressroom Manager.
