Michael Jahn joins Magicomm as Director of Product Innovation

Press release from the issuing company

Amesbury, MA. – August 13, 2007 – Magicomm, LLC, a leading developer of integrated direct marketing solutions based on cross media strategies, announces the appointment of Michael Jahn as Director of Product Innovation. Jahn is a proven graphic communications industry visionary with international experience in automated publishing workflow applications and technologies. “His background and over 20 years of industry experience will be a significant asset to our clients and strengthen our future development strategies”, states Rick Littrell, President and CMO of Magicomm, LLC.
Magicomm presently enables their customers, such as XMPie (a division of Xerox) and Global Document Solutions, to establish a personalized and measurably effective cross media communication experience with their target audience. These multi-touch direct marketing services use integrated cross media strategies and processes that reinforce the consumer message through a variety of proven communication vehicles, such as Variable Data Publishing (VDP), direct mail, email, and PURLs (Personal URLs).
Jahn will be responsible for building a “Software as a Service” (SaaS) product line for customers seeking cross media outreach solutions to increase brand awareness, enhance purchase intent, and expand loyalty experiences. SaaS is a rapidly emerging software delivery business model where companies pay for using software services, such as Salesforce.com, without owning it. In the SaaS scenario, the service provider is responsible for software availability and enhancements which allows users to leverage the power of these systems at a fraction of the cost.
Magicomm’s SaaS business model will be designed to provide services that launch products or companies, and promote or manage events using methods that are trackable and measurable. These services will provide access to the latest technologies at a lower entry cost, which will maximize customers return on campaign investment. Current Magicomm services will complement the development and rapid deployment of SaaS products. "Multi-touch campaigns, leveraging VDP, email, and PURL’s, are increasingly becoming accepted by international enterprises to launch new products, services or promotion events.” says Jahn.
"Michael has a proven track record of understanding complex workflow issues and integrating standards based automated technologies in high quality, high performance, real world production environments," said Littrell.  "Our customers demand a cost effective, yet technically innovative solution, whose results can be tracked to ensure the highest response rates and return-on-investment. He thoroughly enjoys the individual challenges of meeting client's needs and has the hands on experience to develop new products that provide cutting edge functionality with superior results."
