BERKELEY, California -- August 14, 2007 – Xinet, Inc., the leader in digital asset management, today announced the availability of Xinet FullPress 15.03 and Xinet WebNative Venture 8.03. In the new release, Xinet has developed at least one highly anticipated feature for every vertical in its customer base of the world's top advertising agencies, retailers, printers, publishers, and corporations.

The new features in FullPress 15.03 and WebNative Venture 8.03 makes the WebNative suite even more powerful, allowing customers to significantly enhance their metadata-driven DAM and PDF workflows. With the new release, XMP metadata can be written back into files and will be visible in the “File Info” window of Adobe applications, whether the file is on a Xinet server or not. Xinet WebNative’s “Drag and Drop” functionality now works with Safari and Firefox browsers in local and remote workflows. Additionally, there is expanded support for Active Directory, Open Directory, and LDAP on most server platforms.
The new release also provides previews of Microsoft Office documents, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Office documents can be seen in the Xinet WebNative interface in the same manner as PDFs, Adobe InDesign, and QuarkXPress documents.
Other new major features in FullPress 15.03 and WebNative Venture 8.03 include:
- Expanded functionality for Triggers & Actions (filesystem triggers, metadata-setting actions, 'movetree' action)
- PDF Image Replacement, including new simplification for remote InDesign workflows
- Uploader: includes new features such as filesystem navigation and support for AppleScript
- PNG file-format previews and custom image ordering
- Output print queues for SMB and Bonjour
- New plug-ins and XTensions

  - Adobe InDesign CS 3: Macintosh Annotator and the WebNative plug-in
