Konica Minolta Names Richard Taylor COO

Ramsey, N.J. - January 28, 2008 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies from the desktop to the print shop, today announced that Richard K. Taylor has been named Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  Taylor will report directly to Jun Haraguchi, President and Chief Executive Officer.

In the newly created position, Taylor will oversee the company's Sales and Service business units supervising the day-to-day coordination and operation of all corporate business sales and service strategies as well as administration and training.

Taylor joins Konica Minolta from Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. where he held various positions including vice president and general manager, and senior vice president Sales, Marketing and Business Operations.  Most recently Taylor served as President and CEO where he oversaw the strategic direction and operations of the company.  Prior to Toshiba, Taylor has held a variety of positions in the printing industry including president of Better Office Systems and vice president of dealer sales for Savin Corporation.

A graduate of the University of Kansas, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  Taylor has been named "Executive of the Year" in 2001, 2003 and 2006 - based on an annual survey of more than 300 independent office equipment dealers, conducted by Marketing Research Consultants.
