RSA Earns Nominations for Best Case Study and Best Software at the Print and Imaging Summit

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY, December 10th, 2007 - WebCRD, the Portal to the Print Center from Rochester Software Associates, Inc., was nominated for Best Software at the Gartner Print & Imaging Summit 2007, Dec 2-4 in Tucson, Arizona.  In addition, RSA earned a Best Case Study nomination for American Fidelity's presentation of their experience as a long-term user of RSA's M.I.S. Print and QDirect solutions, a
s well as WebCRD.
WebCRD is no stranger to awards, having recently been chosen as Best of Show in the Workflow Solutions category at On Demand 2007.  WebCRD delivers the fastest job submission in the industry, through single-screen ticketing and the recently introduced customizable Portal Page.
"We were extremely proud to receive this recognition," noted Tim Kelly, Sr. Vice President at RSA.  "WebCRD has proven itself time and again at some of the most demanding enterprises with volumes ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of jobs per month.  So when other enterprises vote to name your product and case study as among the best, it's very rewarding."
RSA and American Fidelity Insurance presented a very compelling case study. American Fidelity Insurance uses multiple components of RSA's Enterprise Workflow System including M.I.S. Print for legacy data stream transform, QDirect for Enterprise Output Management, and WebCRD for web-based job submission, catalog ordering and production.
Phil Larson, Director of Operations at American Fidelity, reports seven million dollars in savings over seven years, thanks in large part to the integrated software from RSA. Mr. Larson has been asked to speak at several conferences and his presentations, full of detailed results, have always been well received. The case study highlighted how American Fidelity has reduced costs and increased productivity while managing a six-fold increase in orders.
Votes were cast by the IT decision makers in attendance.  Many companies vied for these nominations and some had three times as many eligible voters, yet RSA still placed in the top tier in both categories.  This is a testament to the powerful capabilities of WebCRD, as well as the engaging speaking style of Mr. Larson.
This exclusive event was geared toward demanding enterprises with sophisticated printing workflow requirements.  Learn more about the Print & Imaging Summit at www.print-imagingsummit.com.  Print & Imaging Summit is produced by Vision Events, a Gartner, Inc. company.  RSA's solutions are available from leading printer equipment vendors.
