PALO ALTO, Calif., December 12, 2007 - HP today announced that Sonntag Inc., a leading Dallas-based print management company, has extended its digital large-format capabilities with the addition of an HP Scitex FB6700 industrial flatbed digital inkjet printer and HP Scitex Color Workflow Interactive Navigator (WIN). The new solutions complement the company's existing line-up of HP Scitex and Designjet printers, further enabling it to achieve greater business growth and to meet clients' growing needs. Additionally, the company is able to efficiently and cost-effectively produce high-quality output, ranging from banners and posters to POP displays and window graphics.
The HP digital printing solutions have also allowed Sonntag to enhance its screen printing capabilities. Originating as a small screen printer that sold school spirit supplies, Sonntag Inc. has grown into a successful, 70-employee, visual communications and distribution company that utilizes a variety of printing platforms to deliver the most economical solution for in-store marketing needs.

New installations provide efficiency and reliability
Most recently, Sonntag Inc. installed the HP Scitex FB6700 based on its ability to deliver high-quality images with fast output speeds and the availability of environmentally-friendly, water-based inks. The HP Scitex FB6700 prints directly to rigid sheets at true 600dpi with throughput of up to 150sqm/hr (1,614sqft/hr) using a 6-color drop-on-demand piezoelectric inkjet printing process.

Springer selected the HP Scitex Color WIN solution to manage color uniformity and control profiles across multiple medias and all six of their current digital printers.
Expanding capabilities with digital
Sonntag Inc. sees tremendous growth opportunity in its digital printing business, and includes an HP Scitex XL1500 and an HP Designjet 9000s in its lineup in order to fully service its growing client roster that requires short- and medium-run print jobs across a variety of applications.  The HP Scitex XL1500 and HP Designjet 9000s printers enable the company to quickly print almost any large format, high-quality indoor or outdoor application.
