Open House at Mitsubishi West Coast Headquarters Celebrates Customers, Printing and Pro Football

Press release from the issuing company

December 2007 - ONTARIO, Calif. - Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses hosted 150 guests on November 12 at the company's West Coast Headquarters. The open house and customer appreciation day was attended by printing company executives, pressroom managers and press operators representing existing and prospective customers.
Mitsubishi staff and vendor partners made visitors feel extremely welcome. Informal tours showcased the 14,000-square-foot facility's offices, conference room, customer lounge, parts department and press demonstration/training area.
The event also mixed pleasure with business. Demonstrations on a six-color, 28-inch Mitsubishi Diamond 1000LS sheetfed press with coating unit were run throughout the day using multiple print forms.
As the daylong gathering stretched into the evening, it added football appreciation to the mix. Organizers set up a large-projection TV screen in the parking lot, along with tables and chairs, so visitors could enjoy Monday Night Football. Perfect weather provided an excellent setting for watching the Seattle Seahawks down the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 24-0.
Other highlights included catered lunch and dinner, raffles and presentation of numerous door prizes.
In 2006, Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses' West Coast Headquarters relocated from Torrance, Calif., to the nearby city of Ontario. The move substantially expanded Mitsubishi's ability to service customers due to the significant number of press shipments by Mitsubishi to the Western Sales Region.
The Ontario facility more than doubled the floor space of the previous site. The West Coast Headquarters offers sales support and fulfillment of parts orders. A team of field service supervisors delivers mechanical, electrical and lithographic service and support to Mitsubishi's West Coast customer base.
