Agfa Graphics Names New Account Manager for Canadian Inkjet Market

Toronto – August 2, 2007 – Agfa Graphics Canada announced today the appointment of Jonathan Browne as account manager, Inkjet. Browne, who has extensive experience in the graphic communications industry, will create and implement sales initiatives designed to promote the benefits of Agfa’s :Anapurna and :Dotrix to printing and graphic arts professionals throughout Canada.

Inkjet is a growing and vital market in Canada, as well as worldwide, and having a skilled team leader exclusively for Canada is an important part of continuing Agfa’s inkjet momentum here at home,” said Jack Baraczek, director of Agfa Graphics, Canada.
“Having dedicated professionals with strong knowledge of the marketplace is an important step in realizing our goal to become the leader in the industrial inkjet market,” said Agfa Graphics’ Julian Robledo, general manager Inkjet Solutions, North America. ”Jonathan’s experience in wide-format printing in the Canadian marketplace brings us closer to that goal.”
Browne has more than 15 years of experience in the graphic communications industry, most recently in the national sales office at Thieme Corporation, where he introduced Thieme’s line of large-format screen printing and digital presses to the Canadian print market. He also held positions at KIP Canada and ICC/Cactus Imaging (Ontario).
