DICE Launches New Digital Printer Directory

Press release from the issuing company

July 24, 2007 -- The Digital Imaging Customer Exchange (DICE) has just launched a new service at www.dicegroup.org to enable print buyers to easily do geographical searches to find digital printers and their respective sales contacts. The directory is made up of DICE member companies who have opted to have their company’s information listed. All listed companies are engaged in digital production color printing and own either HP Indigo, Kodak NexPress, or Xerox production color equipment (defined as Docucolor 6060 up through the iGen).
“Unlike some other industry users that closely guard their membership lists, DICE has always felt it important to promote its membership to the marketplace,” states DICE Executive Director Michael Vinocur. He adds that, “Part of our charter is to help grow the market for digital printing and our printer directory helps further that goal.”
DICE currently boasts a record 343 member companies, mostly from North America. The digital printing users group continues to offer a free year’s trial membership to first time members (a $495 value) who own a qualifying digital press. In addition to enabling companies to appear in the printer directory, membership also qualifies company employees to participate on a number of email discussion forums, attend special vendor-hosted events, and to attend the Annual DICE Conference at a significant discount. This year’s conference is scheduled for October 11-13 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. To apply to become a DICE member, visit www.dicegroup.org.
