April 4, 2007 -- After eight years as President & General Manager of the narrow web leading company, XSYS Print Solutions, Ewald Draaijer has decided to leave the company to pursue other activities. During his tenure, Ewald has led the division’s expansion into new markets through strong organic growth, a couple of JV’s and an acquisition. He has been instrumental to create a global presence and to build XSYS Pint Solutions into the market leader it has become. “It has been a fantastic time, but it is time for me to pursue other activities” says Mr Draaijer, ”I’m most proud of the team of entrepreneurial and innovative people I’ve had the benefit of being part of. We have created a truly global team which provides unequalled local technical support that constantly drives the business by providing immediate answers to our customer’s problems. The focus and dedication of our people plays an important role in the responsiveness we offer our customers. Ewald Draaijer will be succeeded as XSYS president by Russell Joyce, who is currently VP & general manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America. Russell began in the ink industry in 1991 in England. He joined the ANI narrow web group in 1997 and has held both technical and market development roles since. He has been instrumental in the continued growth of the XSYS business in his region and under his leadership, the group’s market share has grown substantially. -“It is an exceptional good base to start from” say Mr Joyce.
