Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 16 -- The KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press is helping PXP Ohio transform from a commercial printer to a communications solution provider. PXP Ohio selected the NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press to provide its customers with high quality, short run color printing.
“We see digital printing as an excellent growth opportunity, and found that Kodak offered the right combination of quality, speed and service for our company with the NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Press,” said Gene Scott, President, PXP Ohio, a commercial printer that serves regional and national clients from Central Ohio. “Our customers are excited and supportive of this expansion into digital print, with particular interest in 1 to 1 marketing and print on demand.”
Scott anticipates reaping immediate benefits from his new digital print capabilities.
“Before we made the final decision to expand into digital print, we asked our customers what added service they would like to see offered and many noted digital printing for its features like shorter runs and variable data capabilities,” added Scott. “We’re looking forward to tapping into this built up demand with our new NEXPRESS Press.”
The NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Press meets a variety of needs up to very high volume environments. Customers are able to upgrade presses as they grow their businesses with options to select desired paper capacity, increase processing capability, and add a fifth imaging unit for delivery of spot color, watermarking and protective coating with the GATF InterTech Award winning KODAK NEXPRESS Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions. The fifth imaging unit solutions also enable high impact glossing in conjunction with the KODAK NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit. The booklet maker for KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses is available inline or offline for collating, stitching, folding, trimming, and creating standard or square back booklets of up to 100 pages.
With approximately 30 employees, PXP Ohio is a small commercial printer specializing in full service support, prepress and design, finishing and binding, web to print and fulfillment.
