TRUMBULL, Conn., March 26, 2008 -- Oce, an international leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced a major expansion of the Oce Imaging Supplies solvent inkjet media portfolio with the addition of thirteen new products. The new solvent portfolio provides upgrades to the Oce solvent specialty Photo Paper, Backlit Film and Fabric lines, as well as new competitively priced Scrim Banner and Adhesive Backed Vinyl products. The new solvent media line will be on display in Oce booth #436 at the International Sign Expo in Orlando FL, March 27-29, 2008.

Photo Paper

Premium Photo Satin Paper (PHOTOSAT) -- This new product has a bright white, solvent-compatible inkjet receiver coating with a smooth surface. It is designed to produce photo-quality images with improved color gradients and image uniformity when using solvent inks. Oce PHOTOSAT is a superior choice for high-resolution photographic indoor applications intended for up-close viewing. It is compatible with most solvent inkjet printers and inks and produces a vibrant luster image when printed on the Oce Arizona(R) 250 GT with UV curable inks. Oce PHOTOSAT is available in 36-, 54-, and 60-inch wide rolls by 150-foot lengths.

Economy Gloss Paper (PHOTOECO) -- This medium is an economic alternative to glossy paper. With a uniform, treated gloss surface and a hefty 190 grams per square meter (gsm) basis weight, Oce PHOTOECO "photorealistic" paper will outperform the printed image quality of most uncoated competitive papers. It is designed for signage and display applications where an economic paper product is desired, but high performance is still essential. Oce PHOTOECO is available in 54- and 63-inch wide rolls by 165-foot lengths.

Backlit Film

Quick Dry Matte Backlit Film (QDBLF) -- This polyester-based film dries fast, enabling users to take advantage of their printers' automated take up systems for high production print jobs while still providing the maximum image density required for a backlit application. With Oce QDBLF, substantial ink savings can be realized because high image density is possible in one-pass printing instead of two or more passes required for some competitive films. Oce QDBLF is available in widths of 36-, 54-, and 60-inch wide rolls by 150- foot lengths.

Fabric

Universal Banner Fabric (UBF6) -- This 6 mil polyester banner fabric media is ideal for soft signage applications where heavy ink loads are required. It is an excellent choice for event signage, trade show graphics and decorative applications. The initial offering is available in 36- and 50-inch widths by 50-foot lengths.

Scrim Banner

All scrim products are non-fraying and include a uniform weave. These new portfolio items are all competitively priced, ranging from 19 to 55 cents per square foot based on suggested retail pricing.

Scrim Banner 10 oz. Gloss (SCRIM10G) and Scrim Banner 10 oz. Matte (SCRIM10M) -- These two offerings feature extremely smooth printing surfaces for superior image quality. These versatile scrim banner products can be used for a wide variety of display graphics applications. Oce SCRIM10G and Oce SCRIM10M are available in widths of 38-, 54- and 63-inch widths by 164-foot lengths.

Scrim Banner 13 oz. Gloss (SCRIM13G) and Scrim Banner 13 oz. Matte (SCRIM13M) -- These heavier scrim banner materials are designed with greater tear strength and improved "lay-flat" features compared to the lighter weight products. The fine weave of the scrim creates an extremely smooth, printable surface. SCRIM13G and SCRIM13M are available in 38-, 54-, 63- and 84-inch widths by 164-foot lengths.

Block Out Scrim Banner Gloss (SCRIMBOG) and Block Out Scrim Banner Matte (SCRIMBOM) -- These heavier 13 oz. gloss and matte vinyl media include a 100% opaque light-blocking layer to prevent image washout in harsh backlighting conditions. The fine weave of the scrim creates an extremely smooth, printable surface. Oce SCRIMBOG and Oce SCRIMBOM are available in of 38- and 54-inch widths by 164-foot lengths.

Double-Sided Printable Scrim (SCRIM2XM) -- This is a matte-finished product with a 100% opaque light-blocking layer. It features a smooth surface on both sides, which makes this medium suitable for double-sided printing. Oce SCRIM2XM is available in 38- and 54-inch widths by 164-foot lengths.

Adhesive-Backed Vinyl

PSA Vinyl Gloss (CALVIN6G) and PSA Vinyl Matte (CALVIN6M) -- New pressure sensitive adhesive-backed calendared vinyls in both gloss and matte finishes include a permanent adhesive and a kraft release liner. Both are suitable for mounting onto most rigid board materials. Oce CALVIN6G and Oce CALVIN6M are available in 48- and 54-inch widths by 164-foot lengths.
