Unisource Launches 'greenfinder' Web Sourcing Tool

Press release from the issuing company

NORCROSS, Ga., March 26, 2008 -- Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America, has announced the launch of Unisource greenfinder -- an innovative Web-enabled paper sourcing tool -- on its www.unisourcegreen.com Web site.

"Now, Unisource Paper customers can use the greenfinder to select environmentally responsible, 'green' attributes, by chosen paper grade," said Ed Farley, Unisource Vice President, Marketing - Paper. "A customer can choose one green attribute, or multiple attributes, and the tool responds immediately with specific product information. In addition, a customer can access information regarding specific stocking SKUs, of the chosen environmentally responsible paper, by indicating a location in the greenfinder. This makes it easy to determine the number of specific green SKUs, available locally, that can be shipped from the nearest Unisource distribution center."

For Unisource customers to "Go Green," they need to "Know Green." Through the new user-friendly greenfinder, they will get "in the know" by viewing all of the environmental certifications, seals and green attributes associated with specific commercial printing grades available.

"We utilized the information used to create USource (Unisource's Internet- enabled product catalog) and our price books to set up the greenfinder," said Farley. "This paper sourcing tool gives our customers a marketing advantage in value-added selling of green paper benefits to their clients."
