Standard Register Expands Client Services Center

Press release from the issuing company

DAYTON, Ohio (March 12, 2008) – In a move that will provide manufacturers with an ideal customer service experience, Standard Register today announced the expansion of its Manufacturing Parts Solutions (MPS) Client Services center in Dayton, Ohio. Standard Register is a leading provider of document and print management services.

As part of this expansion, 10 new order specialists have been hired to be the key points of contact for Standard Register's MPS customers across the country. Additionally, the center will consolidate service for existing MPS accounts from various other regions into Dayton, creating a more streamlined customer service process and providing efficient assistance to customers. In total, the center will consist of 24 employees, including a coordinator responsible for transactions out of the company's Monterrey, Mexico facility.

"This is a unique approach to customer service in the manufacturing industry. Where most printed production parts suppliers rely only on the local sales representative for support, our model leverages the local expertise of our manufacturing market specialists with a centralized, industry-focused customer service team," said Brad Cates, vice president, Sales and Marketing, Standard Register.  "The result is a total offering that squarely addresses our manufacturing customers' business needs with the highest service levels available in the industry."

By centralizing MPS Client Services under one roof, Standard Register has created a solid concentration of resources available to every MPS account. From technical consultants to pricing to its testing laboratories, key capabilities needed to manage and service an MPS account are in one place. With its exceptional technical resources located in Dayton, Standard Register has transformed a solid customer service process into a powerful, consolidated client services center.

According to Mike Gibson, director of business development, Standard Register, "Our expanded MPS Client Services center enables Standard Register to provide better solutions to our manufacturing customers while delivering them bottom-line savings and heightened service levels. Plus, in light of the current extensive growth of our MPS business, the new center not only accommodates our current business but also positions the company to successfully handle future growth."

Standard Register is the industry-leading single-source provider of printed production parts, which include labels, manuals and supplies for manufacturers. The combination of award-winning products, services and resources are designed to improve workflow and accuracy while reducing labor, material and inventory costs. The company's Client Services group complements these products and services by providing the high-quality, on-going relationship that customers require to meet and exceed their business needs.
