With the increasing trend of migrating from monochrome to digital color printing technologies, VIP / VDE Version 8.7 includes comprehensive support for ICC Profiles for full color IPDS and enhancements for PDF workflows, including  compliance with PDF 1.7 to support the industry's projected growth in Production TransPromo volumes. Also inherent in this release is the support for the new USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB) mandate, including dynamic IMB generation, enabling print and mail operations to get a head start on compliance in anticipation of the 2009 USPS deadline.
