Industry Figure George Yoxtheimer Retires

Friday, March 07, 2008

Press release from the issuing company

3/7/08 - Crouser & Associates announces the retirement of respected printing industry figure George Yoxtheimer. George retired from the post of Vice President of Operations of Crouser & Associates, Inc. George's day to day involvement in the business will be missed by his coworkers, most particularly company president Tom Crouser who has been George's friend since their college days.  The retirement signals the end of a long and influential career in the printing industry.

His first printing job was while serving in the US Army as Captain and Assistant Manager to the First US Army Field Printing Plant.  The plant handled printing for the eastern seaboard.  George's knack for man-agement in the industry became evident when he increased production by 70%.  He went on to work for Moore Business Forms as a civilian.

In 1986 George joined Crouser & Associates and became involved in developing tools and a business plan to improve the performance of independent printers. His impact on lives and business fortunes is perhaps best summed up by one of the many congratulations messages George received from the affiliates who were beneficiaries of his expertise. John Baicy of Immedia Print, Winston-Salem, North Carolina wrote, “Congratulations on a hell of a career helping printers climb out of despair and finding prosperity. Not only have you done a great job for Crouser & Associates, you have helped a lot of us become better business people and take better care of our families. You have my sincerest appreciation for that.”

Tom Crouser and all the staff and affiliates of Crouser & Associates wish George a fulfilling retirement and Happy Trails.

Crouser & Associate's CPrint program is an organization of independently owned family-based busi-nesses that strive for professionalism and performance among small businesses that commonly lack highly developed systems and leadership. This is accomplished by CPrint supplied training, specialty software, onsite visits, board meetings, and mentoring programs that affiliates participate in throughout the year. Companies from throughout North America participate in the program.

Crouser & Associates is located in Big Chimney, Charleston, West Virginia. For more information about the company visit the website at www.cprint.org.
