Mohawkpaper.com Features New Specification Tools

Press release from the issuing company

Cohoes, NY March 5 2008 - Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. has announced the addition of useful new features to its website www.mohawkpaper.com.  The site, designed by Pentagram, NY has a new look along with new tools for more intuitive navigation.

The new home page and section landing pages have been redesigned in both look and structure.  New section pages offer at-a-glance news and information and are categorized to make it easier to find the information and papers you are looking for.  In addition to the new look and enhanced navigation, Mohawk has added two powerful new search tools in the "paper" section of the site.

The Paper Selection tool allows users to browse Mohawk's complete product offering and search by various paper attributes such as item number, grade, finish, shade, basis weight, sheet size, envelope size, cotton content, recycled fiber content, watermark, environmental certifications, digital papers, and other physical properties.   The tool is refreshed in real time and reflects Mohawk's most current product information.

The Find a Merchant tool is an evolution of the site's previous distributor search.  Now users can search for wholesale distributors in the U.S., Canada, as well as internationally.  Searches can be performed by zip code proximity, state, online wholesale distributors, or online retail sites.

"This is a major upgrade to our site.  The paper selection tool is a powerful, easy-to-use feature that is already being heavily used by our customers.  The merchant search makes it easier to locate the closest distributor, helping customers get what they need even faster.  Both are user-friendly tools that have been added to provide our customers with an easy access to information in real time," said Laura Shore, Senior Vice President Communications, Mohawk Fine Papers.

In just two weeks since the launch, Mohawk reports that page views are up and viewing time has increased.  "Customers are using the new tools and accessing a much broader range of content.  We're very pleased with the results," says Shore.
