OEM Super Web Purchases Two EPG Keycolor Systems And Keycolor Autoset Software For Supercom 1000 Presses

Press release from the issuing company

Centerbrook, CT (April 2, 2007)-- EPG (Essex Products Group) announces the sale of two KeyColor C Systems and KeyColor AutoSet software to Super Web of West Babylon, New York, www.superwebusa.com, a global manufacturer of offset and web presses. Super Web will integrate the KeyColor C Systems into four-color and eight-color Supercom 1000 presses. EPG’s KeyColor C System is advanced technology that provides rapid digital control of ink fountain keys. The KeyColor AutoSet software takes digital data from the CTP system in the prepress department to accurately preset ink keys on all fountains. Printers save time and money with EPG systems by controlling color, speeding makeready, and reducing waste. The Super Web Supercom 1000, the newest addition to the Super Web press line, is a variable cassette shaftless press that prints one-over-one or up to four-over-four color with full bindery and optional UV driers. EPG’s KeyColor C technology is multifunctional and highly adaptable. KeyColor AutoKey software can be added to interface with a color-measuring device, such as an on-the-web scanning device or a scanning densitometer, to also provide automatic closed-loop color control.
