Pemco presents new features for their SHM folio-size sheeters at CMM International

Press release from the issuing company

Sheboygan, April 2, 2007 - Pemco will introduce new features for their SHM 1450/1650 folio-size sheeters at CMM International 2007 from June 4-7, 2007. Pemco and Kugler-Womako, two companies of the Körber PaperLink Group, will be present at booth no. 3051 of their sales and service organization Körber PaperLink North America. The new optional features for the SHM folio-size sheeters are as follows: automatic non-stop splicing system; non-stop automatic pallet change; gripper section and 110 inches sheet length capability. Especially folding carton companies, printers and converters will benefit from these options. The automatic non-stop splicing and the non-stop pallet change systems both increase productivity by eliminating the need to stop the sheeter for reel change and pallet changes respectively. The gripper section allows for in-line ream production. Using this feature, converters can sheet, collate and stack a broad range of different materials in ream format and automatically deliver into an appropriate packaging line (i.e. kraft or shrink wrapper). This system is proven with a full range of products, such as fine paper, board, film, and plastic as well as sensitive materials, for instance lightweight wax coated sandwich wrap and bank note paper. The new maximum sheet length of 110 inches (2,794 mm) especially meets the requirements of the printers who require large size formats for a one-step printing process. This eliminates potential color distortions previously experienced when adhering multiple sheets together to create a single large size format.
