Fujifilm Canada Adds Metrix to Workflow Mix, Giving Industry a New Look at Job Planning

Toronto, Canada, November 28, 2007 - LithoTechnics Inc, developer of Metrix, award-winning workflow integration & automation software, an- nounced today the signing of a distribution agreement with Fujifilm Canada Inc., the leading single source for pre-press to press room solutions in Canada.

"LithoTechnics has developed one of those technologies, and Metrix is a product without equal on the market today," he continued. "Metrix offers our customers the opportunity to auto- mate job planning - and more than that, to integrate planning with their Management Information Systems and pre-press systems." LaLonde con- cluded by noting, "The integration effort underway between LithoTechnics and Rampage Systems will add even more value, streamlining job plan- ning and imposition, while eliminating numerous steps and error-prone processes."
Under the agreement, Fujifilm Canada will sell the entire Metrix product line, on the Mac OS X and Windows platforms, to complement its wide variety of products and services offered to customers in the graphic com- munications industry.

The Metrix family, for Mac OS X and Windows, includes Mini Metrix, for the smaller print shop, in 21" and 30" versions, with imposed PDF out- put. Metrix Commercial, for the general commercial printer, accommo- dates sheet sizes of up to 144" and outputs imposed PDF, JDF/PDF, or Preps templates, along with export of CIP3 and JDF cutting and folding data. Metrix Ganging, for gang run printers, automatically imposes up to 160 products per sheet, and Metrix Max, the top of the range, includes the complete functionality of all editions.  Metrix Commercial, Ganging, and Max are also available with multiple user site licenses, and the whole Metrix family is available in English, German, and Spanish.
