ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 12-Gator Media Group, LLC, a full service commercial printing company in West Caldwell, N.J., celebrates its third year by adding new services with the installation of a KODAK NEXPRESS 2500 Digital Production Color Press and KODAK NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit.

In addition to its new NEXPRESS 2500 Press and NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit, Gator Media utilizes a KODAK DIRECTPRESS 5334 DI Digital Offset Press, KODAK SWORD EXCEL Thermal Plates process through their platesetter, and KODAK APPROVAL NX Digital Color Imaging System. Gator Media also utilizes four HEIDELBERG 40" sheetfed printing presses from two to six colors with coating and 4/2 perfecting. Gator Media has a full service bindery and prepress department. The company was founded in 2004 and employs 45 workers, earning $8 million in sales annually.
The NEXPRESS 2500 Press meets a variety of needs, from entry level to very high volume environments. Customers are able to upgrade presses as they grow their businesses with options to select desired paper capacity, increase processing capability, and add a fifth imaging unit for delivery of spot color, watermarketing and protective coating. The fifth imaging unit solutions also enable high impact glossing in conjunction with the NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit.
With the NEXGLOSSER Glossing Unit, Gator Media Group can create unique applications by adding high impact glossing to calendars, photobooks, book covers and point of purchase displays. The glossing unit also features KODAK NEXPRESS Clear Dry Ink that delivers enhanced image quality and a laminate-like gloss for higher marketing impact.
