Dan Macke Named New Southeast District Sales Manager for KBA North America

Press release from the issuing company

June 29, 2007 -- KBA North America, a leading press manufacturer based in Williston, Vt., is announcing that Dan Macke has been promoted to cover the three-state territory of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama as the new district sales manager. He will be responsible for providing KBA technology and services as well as introducing new customers to KBA’s wide variety of new-generation small, mid-size, and large-format presses. Macke will be replacing Ed Fitzpatrick, who will be retiring after 24 successful years as the KBA district sales manager, but will continue to serve as a consultant to the company.
“I am excited to be bringing KBA’s extensive variety of automated, award-winning presses and highly-respected training and service to an area of the country that I know very well,” says Macke. “There are a lot of loyal KBA customers in this tri-state region and I’m sure that KBA’s wide range of products with differentiating features will help my customers increase profitability and grow their business.”
Dan Macke joined KBA as its distribution manager overseeing and strengthening KBA’s new dealer network across the US and Canada. Macke had been a graphic arts dealer himself for 13 years and worked for another press manufacturer as their southeast manager supporting dealers in ten states and Puerto Rico. His experience also includes eight years spent as national sales manager and general manager president positions with Grafitec, the manufacturer of Performa and Polly sheetfed presses, where he brought a new brand to the marketplace and also set up a dealer network nationwide.
