Walter Chmura Promoted to KBA's VP Product Management and Special Liaison

June 20, 2007 -- KBA North America, a leading press manufacturer based in Williston, Vt., is announcing that Walter Chmura, KBA’s Midwest regional vice president, has been promoted to VP Product Management and special liaison between KBA’s factory in Germany and the US sales force and marketing teams. In Chmura’s new position, he will be responsible for: customer research, product development, technical assistance to the sales force, application analysis, and assisting with product demonstrations.

For the past two years, Chmura had been overseeing the entire Midwestern U.S. sales team for KBA. Chmura will continue to be headquartered in Chicago.

Walter Chmura has more than 23 years of extensive experience in the printing Industry. He was born and raised in the Chicago land area. Since 1985, Chmura has been an integral part of the graphic arts industry.
 
Chmura began his career as a pressman, demonstrator, service manager, and plant manager at a large printing company. Chmura moved into printing press sales 14 years ago as Showroom Manager, Product Manager, and then National Accounts Manager. He was responsible for providing national sales support for another press manufacture, where management turned to him for help to close their most challenging deals.
