Prism Names Tim Daisy Manager, QTMS Sales, North America

COLCHESTER, UK, June 18, 2007 — David Dunbavand, General Manager QTMS Ltd, has announced the appointment of Tim Daisy to the post of Sales and Marketing Executive, North America. Mr. Daisy will be based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, where Prism has its USA office and he can be contacted at 603-924-9194.

Prism’s QTMS iQ is the company’s fast-growing production management system of choice with flexible options for machine monitoring modules and custom-developed sensors that automatically record and collate shop-floor information and statistics.

An executive with 20 years of experience focused on business process improvement, Mr. Daisy joins Prism from Eastman Kodak where he had been U.S. and Canada Regional Manager, directing the sales, marketing, service and support of business workflow products.

During his tenure there, Mr. Daisy had served as chairman of the Networked Graphic Production partnership where he was a leader in streamlining print production processes through the formation of the industry partnership dedicated to the development of JDF, the graphic industry’s standards-based, cross-vendor integration. An active contributor to the CIP4 Organization, Mr. Daisy has lectured and written frequently on critical production issues such as computer integrated manufacturing and finite scheduling.

Previously, Mr. Daisy was Global Networked Graphic Production Initiative Manager for Creo, Inc., and earlier had been Computer Integrated Manufacturing Product Manager for Printcafé Software.

 His experience in printing production includes six years with New England Business Service Inc. (now a Deluxe division) as process engineering manager where he developed and launched a lean manufacturing program, incorporating setup reduction, Kanban pull systems and process mistake proofing.  Previously, he was an internal consultant with Digital Equipment Corporation charged with company-wide implementation of Just-In-Time and Total Quality Control production methods.

Mr. Daisy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with High Distinction at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester,
Massachusetts.  He is a member of the NAPL’s Research and Engineering Council.
