07/13/2007 -- Easygluer 100, the new folder gluer from Heidelberg, is available now. The machine is ideal for customers looking to move into professional production of folding cartons. Easygluer 100 produces a wide range of high quality cartons with maximum productivity. Straightline folding cartons, lockbottom cartons and folding cartons with lids can be processed as standard. If required, 4- and 6-corner collapsible cartons can also be produced. The lockbottom module can also be equipped with fixed folding elements for special cartons or a CD cover device. A touchscreen makes for simple operation, and the machine can be controlled using a cable-free remote control.
Easygluer 100 operates at a speed of up to 300 meters a minute, amounting to a maximum output of 50,000 lockbottom cartons an hour. It processes board for folding cartons with grammages ranging from 200 to 600 grams per square meter and N, F and E flute corrugated board.
Easygluer 100 ensures a consistently high level of quality in production as the pre-breaker, lockbottom module and folding station are equipped with a central transportation system. The 2.9 meter-long folding station makes for a careful folding process, particularly for large blanks. The process of upper and lower central transportation in the folding station provides reliable transportation of large-format blanks and precise folding.
The high quality and durability is also down to the robust construction of Easygluer 100. Lightweight but stable aluminum roller bars ensure that the blanks are transported smoothly through the entire machine, enabling precise folding processes at each station. Easygluer 100 can also be supplied with an optional alignment module. This module enables top folding results for processing straightline folding cartons in high-performance applications, blanks made of corrugated board, or special cartons. At the same time, it also cuts the machine’s setup time.
Easygluer 100 is the latest solution from Heidelberg to have been developed in cooperation with its Taiwanese partner. Another product to come from this partnership is the Varimatrix 105 C and CS die cutter, of which more than 80 machines have been sold worldwide since it was launched at China Print 2005.

Easygluer 100 is Heidelberg’s latest addition to the existing ECO 80 and ECO 105 models, rounding off the company’s offering for customers wishing to move into professional folder carton gluing. Furthermore, the very powerful machines of the Diana Pro and Diana X series for high-performance and special applications complete Heidelberg’s comprehensive range of folder gluers.
Diana X 115/135, the new generation of folder gluers developed for Ipex 2006, can reach speeds of up to 650 meters a minute depending on the area of application. The Jagfeed prefeeder and the Japack Pro case packer enable industrial processing and packaging of the glued cartons. As a result, it is possible to process up to 200,000 cartons per hour.
