Detroit, MI -- Huron Capital Partners LLC announced today that it has opened an office in Toronto, Ontario to accelerate the expansion of its Canadian portfolio of equity investments. The firm additionally announced that Jeremy D. With over 13 years of investment experience and working with middle-market businesses across a variety of industries in Canada and the USA, Mr. Busch will be responsible for driving the firm's Toronto office efforts to originate, complete and manage investment opportunities in Canada. Huron is an operations-oriented equity investor primarily focused on creating business platforms which can be significantly grown organically and through add-on business acquisitions.

Michael R. Our efforts in Canada over the past 3 years have enabled us to commit over $25 million to Canadian-based companies. Jeremy's presence and dedication to Canadian investment opportunities will greatly assist our efforts to commit $100 million for investment in Canadian companies."

Mr. Busch added, "I am very excited to join the Huron team in its efforts to increase its portfolio in Canada. The firm's stellar track record and reputation for partnering with management teams to significantly grow their businesses organically and through acquisition has been well received in the Canadian middle-market. Huron's deep network of U.S. based-contacts will continue to help some Canadian companies expand their sales and improve their supplier relationships in the United States."

Prior to Huron, Jeremy was most recently with TorQuest Partners, a Toronto-based private equity firm. Jeremy also has significant U.S. private equity experience, having worked with Wind Point Partners in Chicago for five years.
