Dynagram goes green with its eco-program LEAVES

Press release from the issuing company

Quebec - Dynagram is proud to present its Eco-program called LEAVES, which aims at joining the global efforts to help the environment by offering eco-friendly solutions and services to the print community. Over the past few years, the printing industry jumped on the green wagon and is making impressive efforts to be more environmentally responsible. Dynagram, and its Interscript division, has decided to support this effort by creating its own eco-program.

Under this program, Dynagram and Interscript have developed a policy and clear processes in order to innovate with green solutions, reduce the waste of consumables, recycle, purchase recycled supplies, and eventually get a green certification from the industry.

As a software solution provider, Dynagram is more and more dedicated to developing imposition technologies allowing printers to optimize the use of plate, paper and other consumables.

On the other hand, Interscript consumes nearly 12 tons of paper annually for rough copies or proofs shipped to customers. The division has committed to reduce by 50% the consumption of fine paper in the first year thus saving 112 trees annually, according to Environment Canada's figures. This will be possible by offering efficient digital workflows and appropriate incentives to customers who want to embrace the Eco-program objectives.

We are confident that through the LEAVES Eco-program we can provide equal or greater solutions and services to our customers while contributing to the global effort to improve the environment through less waste and improved business practices.
