AIIM and ON DEMAND Conferences & Expos Gain Momentum as Event Grows Near

NEWTON, Mass.--March 27, 2007-- Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced that excitement is growing as the AIIM and ON DEMAND Conferences & Expos, the largest enterprise IT event combined with the pre-eminent digital printing event in North America, gain momentum. The Conferences and Expos will take place April 16-19, 2007 at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center. The AIIM and ON DEMAND Conferences & Expos will attract close to 30,000 attendees and 425 exhibitors from around the world. The co-located conferences and expos are the largest events to take place at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center since its opening, and will occupy 180,000 square feet of the convention center. According to a standard industry formula by ExPact2004, spending by attendees, exhibitors and show organizers will bring more the $24 million to the city of Boston. "We have a powerful combination of co-located conferences and expositions representing the entire information life cycle -- from data capture, to information access and delivery, through printed delivery," said Christina Condos, Group Show Director, Questex Media Group. "We're very pleased with the registration volume to date, and delighted to welcome more than 100 new exhibitors to the shows. Featuring companies like Microsoft, Google Enterprise, IBM, Oracle, Canon, Kodak and Xerox, the Expos will allow attendees to examine the state-of-the-art in content, document and information management technologies, and how they're being used to improve business performance." Event highlights include: Keynotes. Keynote addresses will be presented by Arkadi Kuhlmann, Chairman, President and CEO of ING Direct USA; Jeff Teper, Corporate Vice President, Office Business Platform Microsoft; John Schwarz, Chief Executive Officer of Business Objects; and Stephen J. Dubner, author of The New York Times Bestseller - Freakonomics. Conference Programs. The scope and depth of the AIIM conference program has been expanded to 14 tracks, offering several new conference themes as well as leading strategies and technologies created to address the needs of business and IT professionals and compliance and records managers. The ON DEMAND conference program offers more than 40 sessions that will focus on key growth applications, technologies and opportunities in the digital printing industry and how you can incorporate them into your business strategies. Expo Hall. The AIIM Expo Hall offers the latest technologies from approximately 250 leading companies who will be offering products and services associated with the capture, storage, management, analysis and distribution of content and information. The ON DEMAND Expo Hall is the largest gathering of digital printing technology and solution providers in North America. Nearly 175 of the major players in the industry will be demonstrating the hottest products and technologies. ECM Exchange Theater. The ECM Exchange Theater, presented by Doculabs and AIIM - the ECM Association, will feature a series of interactive vendor panels. Competing ECM suppliers representing a variety of application spaces will provide their views on questions posed by attendees, and senior representatives from AIIM will lead an interactive Q&A session focused on a variety of mission-critical user issues. IBM FileNet Mock Trial. Expert attorneys will conduct a mock trial in real time with no scripts and expo attendees will serve as the jury. Witnesses will respond to questions extemporaneously in an adversarial situation and real-time court rulings will be based on case law and a set of statutes and regulations. The mock trial, sponsored by FileNet, an IBM company, will provide attendees with interactive information for effective records retention and disposition policies. Language and Technology Services Pavilion. The Language and Technology Services Pavilion, sponsored by GALA, will bring attendees in contact with cutting-edge products and services that make multilingual content management possible. GALA, along with its member companies, will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to learn how multilingual content fits into content management strategies as a whole. GALA member companies will present a range of products and services from translation and localization services to technology platforms for managing large volumes of multilingual content. Charity Event. The AIIM and ON DEMAND Conferences & Expos are partnering with the Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, a Boston Public School. Many exhibitors have state-of-the-art technology solutions that the school system desperately needs to enhance their educational programs.
