Sakurai Hosts Successful Demo Days

Sakurai USA held a successful Demo Days Open House on July 29th and 30th at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois to showcase and demonstrate its family of fully automated offset and cylinder screen presses plus special plate technologies. 

“We were extremely pleased with the turnout by customers, prospects and guests as well the enthusiasm and interest in both automated offset and screen presses over the two-day event”, said Don Bence, Vice President, Sakurai USA, Inc. “This was an encouraging sign as we approach Print ’09 during these challenging economic times and we are looking forward to a successful show”.

In addition to offset press demonstrations on a Sakurai 466SDC 4-color with coater
and a 466SD 4-color press, Sakurai featured a Maestro 102AII cylinder screen press demonstrating overall and spot coating. Sakurai also featured special plate demonstrations using Toray Waterless, Mitsubishi Imaging Polyester and Konica Conventional Metal Plates.

“The support we received from our Sakurai Dealers, especially Fuller Grafix was excellent”, Bence added.   “And the representation by valued Sakurai suppliers including Pierry Manufacturing, Harris & Bruno, Tresu Royse, Mitsubishi Imaging, Toray, Megami Ink, and Konica contributed to the overall success of our Open House”.
