The Printing Association of Florida Names Sarah Patt-Pronek VP and General Manager, Graphics of the Americas

Orlando, Florida – May 29, 2007 — The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) today announced that Sarah Patt-Pronek, sponsorship and exhibit liaison, The American Marketing Association, Silicon Valley Chapter, has accepted the position of vice president and general manager for Graphics of the Americas. Ms. Patt Pronek will take over the position May 21, 2007, reporting to George Ryan, president and CEO, working out of the association’s Orlando headquarters. “Sarah brings over twenty years of exposition, association management, advertising, sponsorship and exhibit sales experience to the association and Graphics of the Americas,” said George Ryan, president and CEO of the Printing Industry of Florida. “In addition, her nine years at ARMA International, managing their successful annual conference, will make for a smooth transition, allowing her to hit the ground running for our 2008 event.” Prior to accepting the position with the Printing Association of Florida, Sarah Patt-Pronek acted as sponsorship and exhibitor liaison for the Silicon Valley Chapter of The American Marketing Association (AMA), the association’s premier chapter. At the AMA, she was responsible for customer relations, sponsorship and exhibit sales as well as event attendance. Previously, she held a similar position with Global Technology Conferences, Inc. and nine years with ARMA International (Association for Records & Information Management Professionals). At ARMA, she managed all aspects of the association’s annual exposition, attracting over 4600 attendees, 200-plus exhibitors and covering 200,000 square feet of exhibit space. Sarah also held the title of sales and advertising director while at ARMA and was responsible for bringing the annual event “in-house,” increasing total association revenue by $1.7 million and show revenue alone by 15-20 % year over year. Formerly, Sarah held a number of senior positions in association management, direct mail and advertising fields. She has a BA in business administration as well as minor degree in psychology and Spanish. “I’m enthusiastic to head up sales for one of the largest U.S.-based annual international graphic communications exhibition and conferences,” said Sarah Patt-Pronek, incoming vice president and general manager. “Graphics of the Americas has a long, 32-year history and I’m eager to bring the event to the next level of success.”
