New Books Printed on KODAK NEXPRESS

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 14 - To participate in the launch of local food book, Rochester Eats, Eastman Kodak Company digitally printed the first run of 1,000 copies of the book on the KODAK NEXPRESS 2500 and S3000 Digital Production Color Presses to distribute at local resellers. The book is published by Patti Ronsvalle of Big Kids Publishing and authored by Karen Deyle of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
"We're proud to have this opportunity to give back to the Rochester community through this project," said Greg Gresock, Worldwide Product Manager, Digital Printing Solutions, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group. "The NEXPRESS Presses' ability to produce vivid color and outstanding quality gives readers a real-life reproduction of historic Rochester and its food oriented traditions."
Launched in October 2007, the 175-page color Rochester Eats book visits family owned eateries through antique and vintage menus, photos, artifacts, secretly guarded restaurant recipes and humorous personal recollections. The book provides a nostalgic look back over the last 75 years of Rochester restaurants.
Rochester Eats is available in Rochester at Wegmans, Barnes and Noble Booksellers and Borders Marketplace. For more information and to order a copy directly, visit: rochesternyeats.com.
The book will also be shown at printing trade shows to demonstrate that the KODAK NEXPRESS Presses are ideally suited to handle short-runs with quick turnaround times and tight deadlines demanded of print providers and publishers today.
