PIA/GATF Brings Advocacy Agenda to Washington

Pittsburgh, PA, January 15, 2008 - Every two years, PIA/GATF members bring the industry’s advocacy agenda to the nation’s capital for a two-day summit featuring policy and political events with key congressional, administration, and political leaders. This year’s 2008 Legislative Conference will take place June 17–18 in Washington, D.C. at the Capitol Hill Hyatt and various sites on Capitol Hill.
This unique event features face-to-face lobby meetings with lawmakers where members of the printing industry can articulate their policy priorities. "This conference is a key opportunity for the industry to join together and demonstrate our economic and political influence," says Michael Makin, president & CEO of PIA/GATF.
Complimentary registration for the 2008 Legislative Conference is a benefit for PIA/GATF member companies. Nonmember companies pay a registration fee.
