Press release from the issuing company

DAYTON, OHIO - August 22, 2007 Day International, a Flint Group Company, will open its new Center for Technology and Operations Excellence in September 2007. The new state-of-the-art facility, located in Batavia, Illinois, will provide a centralized location for Day’s North American pressroom chemical technology and manufacturing operations.
"The new center will enhance our pressroom chemical manufacturing capabilities and allow us to better leverage our strong R&D competency," explained Dennis Wolters, president and CEO of Day International. "Consolidating our R&D and manufacturing operations into a single facility will further enable us to standardize our processes and reduce redundancy," he added.
Jeff Pieper, Sr. Vice-President and GM of Day’s Chemical Products Division said, "The new 112,000 square foot facility provides a platform from which we can better support our customers. It is a significant investment that underscores Day’s continued commitment to create more customer value."
The new facility, which will bring approximately 40 jobs to the area, will also be used extensively for training Day’s customers and field support team. An Open House and ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled September 12, 2007.
