8/22/07 -- Quebecor World Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Hughes Bakewell as President of the Direct Marketing Solutions Business. Mr. Bakewell will be a key member of the Quebecor World leadership team. He will lead Quebecor World's Direct Marketing Solutions Business to create more value for customers by providing innovative targeted marketing and advertising solutions helping Quebecor World's customers to grow their businesses.

Prior to that, Mr. Bakewell was President and CEO of an internet company, Kickstart Inc., and before that he was a Managing Director at an advertising agency, The Integer Group. Mr. Bakewell has also spent more than a decade in a succession of leadership roles in marketing and business development at Frito-Lay Inc., Hallmark Cards Inc., and Pepsi-Cola Inc.
Mr. Bakewell obtained an MBA from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and he also has a Bachelor of Finance degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
