Global Imaging Acquires Marbaugh Reprographics Supply Co.

Press release from the issuing company

Friday August 17 TAMPA, Fla.-- Global Imaging Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, has acquired Indianapolis-based Marbaugh Reprographics Supply Company, Inc., continuing its acquisition strategy after merging into Xerox in May.
Marbaugh provides sales and service of Oce and Xerox wide-format copiers, as well as scanning, printing and other reprographics services from its facility in downtown Indianapolis. Marbaugh, which will now also offer a broader range of Xerox document management systems, will continue to serve mid market customers in the Indiana area as a satellite of CopyCo Office Solutions, a Global core company also based in Indianapolis.
"The addition of Marbaugh into the Global Imaging fold represents our continued commitment to growth through strategic acquisitions that are good for our customers and good for our company," said Michael Shea, president and CEO of Global Imaging. "With Marbaugh, we strengthen our position in the Midwest with a company well known for supplying customers with Oce and Xerox wide format equipment and service."
"While adding to our products and services, Marbaugh also increases our density of customers and machines-in-field," said Bill Schmidt, CopyCo president. "Additionally, we have complementary skill-sets, which will enable us to cross-sell our customers a broad set of solutions."
Former co-owner Brad Clough, who continues as vice president and general manager of Marbaugh added, "The Xerox-Global team's emphasis on customer satisfaction aligns extremely well with our philosophy and will mean great things for our growing customer base."
