InteliCoat Technologies Introduces New Magic Technical Bulletin for Recycle and Disposal

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass., August 27, 2007 – InteliCoat Technologies, a world leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for digital imaging technologies, today announced that it has created the new Magic Technical Bulletin for Recycle and Disposal. The bulletin will provide a list of suggested recycle streams for InteliCoat products, both to help customers implement recycling programs for post-print media and to encourage active involvement in the recycling process as a whole. It will be updated on a regular basis as new Magic and Magiclée brand products are introduced and will be available in the technical support section of www.magicinkjet.com.
InteliCoat"s commitment to environmental standards is highlighted by the company"s certification to the internationally recognized ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system standard. The certification covers the plant"s environmental procedures, processes and planning activities, as well as continual improvement programs in environmental management.
InteliCoat Technologies" offers a wide product portfolio for customers that request recyclable materials, ranging from products made with terephthalate (PET, PETE) which can be recycled for food and beverage containers, fibers, film and sheet strapping; high density polyethylene (HDPE) in which recycled content can be used in bottles for non-food items such as shampoo, liquid laundry detergent and outdoor plastic lumber; low density polyethylene (LDPE) that can be re-used for shipping envelopes, floor tile, furniture and more; polypropylene for recycled use in automobile applications, such as battery cases and signal lights; and paper, which can be re-used for a variety of new paper products such as shopping bags, catalogs, books, etc.
